We here at Vintage Blue Moon sell all of our vintage and vintage inspired garments and accessories as wearable collectibles. We do our best to photograph, measure and describe our items accurately. Please be sure to measure yourself prior to purchasing and be aware that colors are approximate due to variances in monitors and systems. By purchasing from Vintage Blue Moon you acknowledge that you are aware of the following:
Due to its age and unique nature, vintage clothing is not often in perfect condition and is sold "as Is". We do however, try our best to purchase vintage items that are in almost perfect condition.
Know that Vintage Blue Moon takes careful steps to both clean and repair garments, sometimes may have flaws, including, but not limited to, stains,and repairs. Please pay close attention to each garments specific condition.
Items are used and most likely have been previosly worn, unless otherwise indicated as "deadstock" or "unworn" etc.
No warranty is expressed or implied regarding the usefulness or durability of any vintage item. Again, items sold "as is". The only exception to this rule are the vintage estate watches which have all been cleaned and refurbished and come with a one year warranty.
Buyer notes that colors may vary from one computer screen to another. Contact us before purchasing if you are not sure of a garments exact hue.
All items are shipped via United States Priority Mail with Delivery Conformation, tracking number and insurance which is required. All items, usually being one of a kind vintage items are insured for the amount of purchase. Any insurance claims arising due to damage or non-receipt of items are the responsibility of the purchaser. Vintage Blue Moon will supply the purchaser with all necessary supporting documents.
International buyers: all items purchased will be shipped USPS Global Priority Mail with delivery and tracking information. All items are also required to be insured for the amount of purchase only.
We offer a standard 30 day lay-a-way with a required 30% down of the purchase amount. We do offer a 60 day lay-a-way for larger purchases of $1000.00 or more. Payment in full is required at term of the lay-a-way agreement. Items that are not paid for in full at the end of the lay-a-way agreement, purchaser acknowledges that their deposit will be non-refundable. If lay-a-way is terminated prior to the term of the lay-a-way, the purchaser understands that there will be a 25% restocking fee and a credit for the remainder will be issued.
Please Note the following:
*Any garments sold as seasonal items (prom, Holiday, wedding, etc,) are not returnable. No exceptions!
*All vintage and vintage inspired eyewear such as Lafont, Lulu Guinness, etc. are not returnable. No exceptions!
Items are not returnable due to size compatibility. Please check garment measurements with your own before purchasing.
If it is necessary to return an item you must notify us within 24 hours of the receipt of the item that you wish to return. We will issue you a Return Authorization number. No return will be processed without this number. Item must be received within 7 days in the same condition as shipped and must be insured for the amount of purchase. Upon receipt of the item it will then be inspected. Once approved you will receive a refund minis the original shipping and insurance charges. If the item is damaged, altered or worn a refund will not be issued. Remember items will not be accepted for consideration of a refund without a Return Authorization Number.
We DO NOT accept returns of Sale items and Lay-A-Ways that extend beyond their terms.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover all through PayPal. If you do not have a PayPal account you are more than welcome to contact us by phone 909-240-8506 and we will run your credit card through our merchant services. Once payment is confirmed your item will ship out with in 2 to 3 days unless otherwise specified. Some items such as the Lafont Eyewear can take up to 7 days to ship.
